Status LED indication Status LED indication
Battery Status indication
Salt indicates the battery level for 3 seconds via
the status LED, whenever you interact with it via the
touch surface, the Power or Magic Button, or when
connected to a compatible charger.
Green — the battery is charged suciently
Orange — the light needs to be charged soon
Flashing orange — the battery level is very low
Energy saving-mode
Salt will dim to the lowest setting to save energy when
the battery is almost completely discharged. In this
mode, dimming is disabled.
Charging status indication
Salt will tell you if it is charging properly when
connected to a compatible USB-C PD charging device
via the status LED.
Salt is charging but the battery is not yet fully charged —
Salt displays a pulsing orange status LED.
Salt is fully charged — you see a pulsing green status
LED.
Incompatible power source detected — if an incompa-
tible USB-C charger was connected, Salt will display a
constant red blinking LED until the charger is discon-
nected.
