  Your Gravely Lawn Mower engine might not start due to several reasons. The Safety Interlock System might be preventing the start because the speed control levers are not in neutral, the key is not in the Run position, the parking brake is not On, or the Power Take Off (PTO) is not Off. Also, the fuel tank could be empty or the fuel contaminated, or the air cleaner could be clogged or damaged. In the first case, make sure that the speed control levers are in neutral, the key is in the Run position, the parking brake is On and the Power Take Off (PTO) is Off. If the fuel tank is empty, add fuel, and if necessary, replace the fuel with clean, fresh fuel. If the air cleaner is clogged or damaged, clean or replace the filter element.
