How to fix Great White Swimming Pool Vacuum that does not move?
    • M
      michaelwebbAug 15, 2025
To address a Great White Swimming Pool Vacuum that isn't moving or has a slow oscillator, try the following: * Backwash and/or clean the filter and empty all baskets to help the cleaner achieve the desired oscillation rate of 400-600 times per minute. * Clear any debris from the oscillator chamber, hose, or vac plate bypass (if applicable). * Repair any vacuum leaks, such as cracked vac plates or hoses, or a vac plate bypass adjusted too loosely. * Adjust valves to maximize vacuum to the port or skimmer where the cleaner hose is attached, and reduce or shut off other skimmers and the main drain. * Consider purchasing a new Sta-Rite hose, as it's essential for proper operation.

What to do if Great White GW9500 Swimming Pool Vacuum climbs out of pool?
    • Q
      qgarrisonAug 18, 2025
If your Great White Swimming Pool Vacuum climbs past the waterline, causing the pump to lose prime, here's what you can do: First, ensure the vacuum regulator is installed. If the issue persists, remove the black rubber regulator cap and replace it with the cap marked #50 from the accessory bag. You can also slightly open the main drain valve until the cleaner no longer climbs out of the pool.

Why Great White GW9500 cleaning coverage is not as expected?
    • C
      Clinton MurrayAug 26, 2025
If your Great White Swimming Pool Vacuum isn't providing the expected coverage, consider the following: A clean filter system helps the cleaner move faster, so be sure to clean all baskets. Vinyl liner pools with a deep end hopper may require 6-8 hours to clean. Also, examine the lift brush mechanism while the cleaner is operating. Note that the cleaner isn't designed to work under solar covers, and strong winds can sometimes hinder coverage. You can attach a vac-pole (telepole) using the handle in the accessory bag.
