e) Sleeping function can be controlled by “SLEEP” button on remote controller, the front panel of control device has this press button,
it can enter into sleeping function.
f) “TIMER”button is used for timing setting.
3.9 Protection Function
3.9.1 Frost-proof protection
When test the frost-proof protection, compressor and outdoor fan motor stop operation. Under cooling mode, indoor fan motor
operates regarding setting fan speed and stops under energy save mode. When the frost-proof protection is canceled and after
3mins, it will back to original state. Under frost-proof protection, in the cooling mode ,the light of cooling mode ashes for each 1.5s.
In the energy saver mode ,the light of energy saver mode ashes for each 1.5s.
3.9.2 Temperature sensor malfunction test
a) Environment temperature sensor is open/short circuit: dual 8 displays F1
b) Indoor temperature sensor is open/short circuit: dual 8 displays F2
c) Outdoor temperature sensor is open/short circuit: dual 8 displays F4
d) Air outlet temperature sensor is open/short circuit: dual 8 displays FJ
e) When the some malfunction happen at the same time, the malfunction protection code will be displayed.
f) When the temperature sensor fail, the compressor and electric heating tube stops under the unit set on, the fan motor issued by
the compressor or electric heating tube which will reach to the temperature point.
g) F1: malfunction of indoor environment temperature sensor; F2: malfunction of indoor tube temperature sensor; F4: malfunction of
outdoor tube temperature sensor; FJ: malfunction of air outlet temperature sensor
