MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE SAFETY
• Do not modify product controls.
• Check regularly for broken parts or other conditions that may affect the correct operation of the machine.
• Only replace worn or damaged parts immediately with original spare parts.
• Carry out regular maintenance on the machine. Do not attempt any maintenance or repair work not described in
this instruction manual. We recommend that maintenance and repairs not described in this manual be performed
by an Ofcial Service Facility.
• Always clean the machine, especially the fuel tank, its surroundings and the air lter, of dust and dirt after
nishing work.
• Do not clean the equipment with solvents, ammable liquids or hard abrasives.
• Turn off the machine and disconnect the spark plug before making any adjustments, lling up, changing
accessories, servicing, transporting or storing this machine.
• Keep the handles of this machine dry and clean.
• Keep cutting instruments sharp and clean. Good maintenance of cutting tools reduces the likelihood of incidents
by making them easier to control.
• If the machine starts to vibrate strangely, turn it off and examine it for the cause. If you do not see the reason,
take your machine to the Ofcial Technical Service.
• Reduce the engine speed when turning off the engine. If the engine is equipped with a fuel shut-off valve, use
it when the engine has stopped.
• To avoid burns or re hazards, allow the equipment to cool completely before transporting or storing.
• When transporting the product, ensure that the engine is stopped and that the machine is properly secured to
prevent it from tipping over, spilling fuel or becoming damaged.
• The equipment is not weatherproof, and should not be stored in direct sunlight, high ambient temperatures, or
in damp or wet locations.
• Store the product out of the reach of children.
