MAINTENANCE
Good maintenance will extend the life of the machine. Prolonged or constant use may require more intensive
maintenance for the machine to continue to function properly.
ATTENTION: Make sure the engine is completely shut down before performing any maintenance
or repair. This will eliminate any potential risk.
ATTENTION
• Always wear gloves when working around the blade assembly.
• Use only original spare parts for this machine.
• Operating the engine without a mufer or with a damaged mufer installed can increase engine
noise enough to cause hearing loss.
NOTE: This machine must never operate with a defective or missing spark arrestor or mufer. Make
sure the mufer is properly secured and in good condition. A damaged mufer is a re hazard and
can cause hearing loss.
1. Carefully remove any accumulated dirt or debris from the mufer and fuel tank. The accumulation of dirt in these
can lead to engine overheating, re or premature wear.
