FLUSHING

2 Close dra in cocks (0 ) and add a au~able
fl u shilg agent ( E) at t he OOtrect streng th f 01
the syst em condition in accordance with the
manufactur 6r'& insttuctions.
3 Run the boiler/system at no r mal operat in g
tem perature (F) for the ti me stat ed by the
manufacturer of the flushing agent (G).
4 Drain (H) an d th oroug h ly flush the syste m to

INHIBITOR (Central Heating):
5 C heck drain co cks are close d ( J ) and all
ra d ia tor valve s are open ( K) before addi ng a
s uitabJe•inhibitor (or comb ined lnhibit or /ant i-
freeze if t he syste m is expcx;ad to fr eez i ng
cond rtions} to the h ea ting system water (L) in
accordance w it h t he marv..rfacturers instructions.
6 Fill system via a WRAS approved fi lli ng loop
to belween 1 and 2 bar.
7 Vent an radiat ors ; retigh ten vents wh en
co mplete (M ). Vent an y air from the boiler
heal ex change r usin g a su i ta b le cont ainer to
collect any water (N ).
• Ensu re t ube outle t (0) is di r ected away
from the fa n or any ot he r electrical
compon e nt to p reve nt dama ge . Also
pl ac:e a surte b le cover ove r the fan to
pr event any sp U '-g e of wat er onto
elec:trical conneetion.s. E nsure the cover
Is removed aft er ven ti ng.

N OT E: The concen tratio n level of inh ibitor in the
system shoul d be ched<ed r?/'iery 12 months or
sooner if sys tem con tent is lo st .
T he addition of sealing agents to the sys t em
water is not recomm ended as this can cause
problems with deposits lett in the heat exchanger .
