Function Description:

Usage Features:
The shaver can be operated in two modes: rechargeable battery operation and mains operation.
Rechargeable Battery Operation:
- For charging, the appliance must be switched off using the on/off switch (C).
- The power cord is plugged into the appliance socket (E) and the power supply unit (F) into a wall socket.
- During charging, the charging display (D) lights up red. The display does not switch off or change color once fully charged.
- It is recommended to charge the batteries only when they are completely discharged to increase their service life, rather than after each use. The appliance should not be charged for longer than 24 hours.
- When using the appliance in the bathroom or near a water connection, it should only be used in battery mode, never connected to the mains.
Mains Operation:
- The appliance can be operated directly from the mains using the provided power supply unit (F).
- To connect, insert the power cord into the appliance socket (E) and plug the power supply unit (F) into a power socket.
- The only way to disconnect the appliance from the power supply is to unplug the power supply unit.
Shaving and Trimming:
- Before use, the plastic protective cap (A) should be removed.
- The appliance is switched on using the on/off switch (C).
- For shaving, the device should be moved slowly and gently against the direction of hair growth, holding it at a 90° angle to the skin.
- For trimming longer hair, the extended trimmer can be used.
- When shaving difficult areas, such as underarms, the skin should always be pulled taut.
- For thick or copious hair growth, it is advised to perform a quick shave first, followed by a more thorough second one.
- After use, the appliance is switched off, and the protective cap (A) is replaced.
Safety Precautions:
- The appliance should never be immersed in water.
- It should only come into contact with water when disconnected from the power supply unit and when the power supply unit is unplugged from the socket.
- The power adapter must always be kept dry.
- Never use the appliance if it, the blade foil, or the shaving head are visibly damaged.
- Do not press too hard during shaving to avoid damaging the blade foils.
- The appliance should not be dropped.
- It is not intended for use by individuals with limited physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person. Children should always be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- The appliance should not be opened under any circumstances, as improper handling will void warranty claims.
Maintenance Features:
Regular cleaning is essential to maintain the appliance's top performance and optimum results.
General Cleaning:
- The housing should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent. Household cleaning agents should not be used.
- The appliance should never be held in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning the Shaving Head:
- Ensure the appliance is turned off and unplugged from the mains.
- The shaving head (B) is pulled up out of the attachment.
- The bottom of the shaving head (B) can be gently knocked against a flat surface to dislodge hair.
- Alternatively, the shaving head can be rinsed under running water.
- The cleaning brush (G) supplied should be used to clean the bottom of the shaving head.
- Important: The blade foil of the shaving head should never be cleaned with the cleaning brush.
- After cleaning, the blade foil is reinserted into the shaving head.
Storage:
- When not in use for a long period, the appliance should be stored carefully.
- Ensure it is switched off and dry.
- Store the appliance and the power supply unit in the provided storage case (H) in a cool, dry place.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
Environmental Note:
The product is manufactured from high-quality, reusable, and recyclable parts and materials. It should not be disposed of with normal household waste at the end of its service life. Instead, it should be taken to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment, where the built-in rechargeable battery will be removed and disposed of separately.
