1/ Unfold Fla me Adjuster.
2/ Close F lame Adjuster Va lve (clock wise rotatio n).
3/ Care fully align the sto ve valve body w ith the fuel ca rtridge nip ple and screw st ove
onto car tridge (clo ckwise) u ntil connect ion is secure. Do no t attempt t o tighten
this conne ction with an y tool.
NOTE: A small am ount of gas may es cape when con necting or disc onnecting f uel
cartridge
!/ Always c heck for leaks a fter insta lling the fuel car tridge. If in qu estion, pour so apy
water gen tly over the su spected are a(s) of t he stove and fu el cartridg e. Bubbles
will form ar ound leaking ar eas. DO NOT TE ST WITH F LAME. I f any bubbles
form, D O NOT USE the f uel cartri dge.

Never ove r tighten fue l cartridg e to stove. Ov er tightenin g can damage st ove or
cartr idge causing f uel to leak. Le aking fuel ca n cause fire, bur ns, severe inj ury or death .

Use ext reme cauti on when using s tove in tempe ratures b elow freezi ng. In freez ing
temper atures O- rings can be come hard an d leak fuel. Al ways check f or fuel leaks b efore
and aft er lighting st ove. Use of a lea king stove c an cause fir e, burns, sev ere injury or d eath.
!/ Keep childr en and pets at le ast 10 feet (3 + meters) aw ay from the st ove.
CONNECTING STOVE AND CARTRIDGE
DANGER
!/ Keep comb ustible mater ials at least 4 fee t (1.2 meters) aw ay from the bur ning
stove, or a s tove that you a re in the proce ss of lighting. Ke ep flammable liqui ds and
vapors a t least 25 feet ( 7.6 meters) awa y from the burni ng stove, or a sto ve that
you are in th e process of ligh ting. This sto ve can ignite co mbustible mat erials,
flammable li quids and vapor s creating a sit uation where f ire, burns sev ere injury or
death ca n result. Keep c hildren at least 10 fe et (3+ met ers) away fr om the stove.

furnac es, water hea ters, gas applian ces or pilot light s. Storing fue l cartridge s near
any heat or i gnition sourc e or where temp eratures ex ceed 120 F (49 C) , can result
in fire, exp losion or poisonin g resulting in se rious bodily injur y or death.

out from B urner Head unt il they stop.
3/ Att ach GSI Outdoo rs Pinnacle Win dscreen (if u sing).
4/ Place s tove assembl y on a solid, stable, e ven surfac e to ensure sta bility.
!/ Use only GS I Outdoors Pin nacle Windsc reens. NEV ER USE A GENE RIC OR
OTHER BRAND WIND SCREEN.
SETTING UP THE STOVE
1/ Hold a lit mat ch or lighter flam e over the edge of t he Burner Hea d.
2/ Open F lame Adjuster Val ve (3/4 tur n) to release a nd ignite fuel.
3/ Ext inguish match o r lighter respo nsibly.
4/ Turn Flame A djuster Valve to d esired flame se tting.
LIGHTING THE STOVE
1/ Close Flam e Adjuster Valv e when cooking i s done (clock wise rotati on).
2/ Aft er flames are out , wait 10 minutes fo r stove to cool.
3/ Move s tove assembl y away from any ig nition source s and unscrew f rom cartri dge
by graspin g the valve bod y (counter cl ockwise ro tation) .
4/ Afte r the stove has c ompletely co oled fold Flame A djuster and clos e Pot Suppor ts.
5/ Store i n storage sac k or a clean dry env ironment.
NOTE:
A small amoun t of gas may esc ape when con necting or di sconnect ing fuel car tridge
TURNING OFF THE STOVE
1/ Add food o r liquid to cookw are.
2/ Place c ookware on to the center o f the stove.
3/ Turn Flame A djuster Valve to a djust heat. ( approx. 1/4 tu rn for optimum e fficiency )
