How to fix a Guardian Portable Generator that will not spray?
    • M
      Mr. Carlos HallAug 12, 2025
If your Guardian Portable Generator isn't spraying, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure the formulation tank isn't empty by adding more formulation. Check for air or vacuum leaks and tighten all fittings from the formulation tank to the nozzle. Inspect the in-line filter for clogs and clean if necessary. Make sure the manual or electrical valve at the nozzle is open and unobstructed. Examine all tubing from the formulation tank to the nozzle for breaks, melting, or clogs. Lastly, the nozzle itself might be clogged, so remove and clean the nozzle tip.

Why does the air pressure increase at constant engine RPM's on my Guardian Portable Generator?
    • C
      Christina GarciaAug 16, 2025
If the air pressure increases at constant engine RPMs in your Guardian Portable Generator, the nozzle might be clogged. Remove and clean the nozzle tip. Alternatively, the air pressure gauge could be faulty and may need to be replaced.

What to do if there is too much fluid flow through the nozzle of my Guardian 55 ES?
    • T
      Tyler MartinAug 20, 2025
If you're experiencing too much fluid flow through the nozzle of your Guardian Portable Generator, it might be due to a missing oriface disk. Add the oriface disk. Alternatively, the oriface disk might be too large; in that case, reduce the size of the oriface disk diameter.

Why are the atomization droplets too large on my Guardian 55 ES Portable Generator?
    • W
      William KruegerAug 23, 2025
If the atomization droplets are too large when using your Guardian Portable Generator, try increasing the engine RPM to increase air pressure. The oriface disk might also be too large; try reducing its diameter. Also, the nozzle could be gumming up or varnishing. Clean the nozzle, and if necessary, soak it in industrial cleaners.

What to do if the spray continues when valve closed on my Guardian 55 ES?
    • A
      Angela McgrathAug 27, 2025
If the spray continues even when the valve is closed on your Guardian Portable Generator, it indicates that the valve is not closing completely. Inspect and clean the valve to remove any potential contaminants.

Why is there too little fluid flow through the nozzle of my Guardian Portable Generator?
    • L
      Lisa MoranAug 31, 2025
If you have too little fluid flow through the nozzle of your Guardian Portable Generator, it could be because the oriface disk is too small; try increasing its diameter. The nozzle might also be clogged, so remove and clean the nozzle tip. Check for air or vacuum leaks and tighten all fittings from the formulation tank to the nozzle. Finally, the formulation filter might be clogged; check and clean the in-line filter if necessary.

What causes no air flow through the nozzle of my Guardian 55 ES?
    • B
      bescobarSep 4, 2025
If there is no air flow through the nozzle of your Guardian Portable Generator, first check if the engine is on and start it if it isn't. Inspect the belt for looseness, breakage, or slippage off the pulley/flywheel, and replace or repair if needed. Ensure the supply hose is connected. Examine the supply hose for worn areas, holes, or fitting breaks. Finally, if the pressure relief valve is stuck open, decrease the engine RPM or check and replace the relief valve.

Why are the atomization droplets too small on my Guardian Portable Generator?
    • C
      Cheryl BrownSep 7, 2025
If the atomization droplets are too small when using your Guardian Portable Generator, it could be because the engine RPM and air pressure are too high. Reduce the engine RPM to decrease the air pressure. Alternatively, the oriface disk might be too small, so try increasing its diameter.
