The GÜDE GBT 50.1 is a robust dehumidifier designed for use in residential, basement, and storage spaces, operating within a temperature range of 5°C to 35°C. It is intended for indoor use only and is built to ensure efficient and safe operation in various environments.

Function Description:

The GBT 50.1 operates by drawing in humid air, passing it over a cooling element to condense moisture, and then releasing drier air back into the room. The collected water is stored in an internal tank or can be continuously drained via a hose.

  • Humidity Control: The device features adjustable humidity settings, allowing users to set a desired relative air humidity. Once this value is reached, the compressor automatically shuts off, while the fan continues to run for an additional minute. If the relative humidity rises again, the compressor restarts.
  • Automatic Defrosting: To prevent ice buildup during continuous operation, the dehumidifier includes an automatic defrosting function. During this process, dehumidification is temporarily paused, but the fan continues to run, ensuring optimal performance even in cooler conditions.
  • Continuous Dehumidification: If the humidity is set to the minimum value of 10%, the unit automatically switches to a continuous dehumidification mode, ideal for situations requiring maximum moisture removal.
  • Water Tank Full Auto-Stop: The device is equipped with a water collection tank. When the tank is full, the unit automatically turns off and enters standby mode. A visual indicator (LED symbol "water tank full") and an audible alarm alert the user to empty the tank.
  • Delayed Start/Stop: The control panel allows for setting a delayed start or stop time, providing flexibility for operation according to user schedules.

Usage Features:

Maintenance Features:

  • Repairs: Repairs and work not described in the manual should only be performed by qualified authorized personnel. A damaged mains supply pipe must be replaced by the manufacturer to avoid hazards.
