The gloves are designed for protection against the following risks:
EN407 - Protection against heat,
The figures by the pictogram for EN standard indicate which result the glove has attained in
each test. The higher the figure, the better the result.
The following elements can be tested:
1. Flame resistance properties of the material (best 4)
2. Protection against conductive heat (best 4)
3. Protection against open flames (best 4)
4. Protection against radiant heat (best 4)
5. Protection against drops of molten metal (best 4)
6. Protection against molten metal (best 4)

Test results for each model is marked in the glove and/or in its packaging, in our catalogue
and in our web pages.
Basic demands
All Guide gloves is applying to CE directive 89/686 and EN420
Usage
The gloves must be used with caution when risk for contact with machines with moving parts.
CE category 2, protection where there is a medium risk for serious injury
EN388 - Protection against physical and mechanical risks.
The figures by the pictogram for EN standard indicate which result the glove has attained in
each test.
The test values are given as a 4-figure code, for example 4112. The higher the figure, the
better the result.
Abrasion (best 4), Cutting (best 5), Tearing (best 4) and Puncturing (best 4)
We recommend that the gloves are tested and checked prior to use.
The gloves do not contain any known substances that can cause allergic reactions in
normally-sensitive persons.
It is the employer’s responsibility together with the user to analyze if each glove protects
against the risks that can crop up in any given working situation.

Storage:
Store the gloves in a cool, dry place in their original packaging.
The gloves’ properties can be affected by humidity, temperature and strong sunlight.
Disposal:
Dispose of used gloves in accordance with the requirements of each country and/or region.
Cleaning/Washing:
Achieved test levels have been tested and guaranteed on new and unwashed gloves.
The effect of washing on the gloves’ protective properties has not been tested.
Cleaning leather gloves: Hand-wash in a mild soap solution. Allow the gloves to air-dry.
