7.1.4. Disassembly Procedure.
This section describes the general procedure to be followed to gain access to modules
located in the 6675A main assembly.
7.1.4.1. Cover Removal Procedure.
1. Remove the rear handles (remove the 10-32 x 3/4" polished oval head (oh)
screws (3 for each) that secure the handles).
2. Remove the rear bracket (remove the 6-32 x 3/8" polished oh screws (3) that
secure the bracket).
3. Remove the outer top cover (slide back 1/4" and remove).
4. Remove both outer side covers (slide back 1/4" and remove).
5. Remove the inner top cover as follows :
i) remove the 6-32 x 1/2" flat head (fh) screws (4) at each corner of the
cover.
ii) remove the 6-32 x 1/4" binder head (bh) screws (6) along each side
of the cover.
iii) loosen the 10-32 x 3/4" polished oh screws (3 for each) that secure
the handles).
iv) lift up and remove the cover.
7.1.4.2. Primary Current Drive Module (19327) Removal Procedure.
1. Carefully free the Primary Current Drive module from the unit's frame
(remove the 6-32 x 3/8" fh screws (6), located under the unit, that secure the
module to the base plate).
2. Free the front panel from the unit's frame as follows :
i) remove the 6-32 x 3/8" fh screws (4), located under the unit, that
secure the panel to the base plate.
ii) remove the 10-32 x 1/2" polished oh screws (2) that secure the panel
to the side panels).
3. Disconnect fibre-optic wires #7, #4 and #5 from the Primary Current Drive
module.
