26. Remove the 100 k resistor from across Rx C
1
and Rx C
2
and
remove the short from across Rs C
1
and Rs C
2
.
27. Repeat the Tracking Calibration.
28. Record the voltages.
29. Turn the 6675A Power OFF.
30. Remove the interface wires installed in Steps 4 and 5.
31. Reconnect RED wires #1 and #2 and BLUE wires #15 and #16.
32. Recheck the tracking calibration.
33. Put the lids on the Servo-loop Module.
7.2.4.3.6.Flux Detector Balancing (Board 19110)
1. Connect two 100 M 9330 standard resistors to the 6675A as
shown in Figure 3-9.
2. Set the mode to "High Ohm" and the speed to "Fast".
3. Set the number of turns to 648 and the voltage to 990 V.
4. Press the menu key under "More x-x" until the
"Monitor/Dacs/Turns/More 1-4" menu is displayed.
5. Select the "Monitor" function by pressing the corresponding menu
key.
6. Adjust potentiometer R42 on the Magnetic Modulator PCB until the
"Servo:" readings are as close to 0 as possible.
7. Allow time for the reading to stabilize and readjust potentiometer
R42 on the Magnetic Modulator PCB if necessary.
8. Temporarily place the top cover on the 6675A and allow time for the
unit to warm up with the cover on.
