position and secure using the original handle screws. Offer the 6675A to the panel opening
and install on the appropriate support shelf. Care must be exercised when using a rack
mount configuration to ensure that sufficient cooling air circulation is available to the
6675A when in the rack. The 6675A will fit a standard 5U opening in the 19 inch rack, it
will protrude beyond the front of the rack and will extend slightly into the front panel space
of the rack opening below.
3.2. WARNING
Dangerous voltages to 990 V dc can appear at the HIGH VOLTAGE OUTPUT front panel
terminal during two-terminal, high resistance measurements. Also, when line power is first applied
to the 6675A at power up, a momentary, high voltage pulse can appear at the HIGH VOLTAGE
OUTPUT terminal.
Care should be exercised when working near the HIGH VOLTAGE OUTPUT terminal.
DO NOT TOUCH the HIGH VOLTAGE OUTPUT terminal until you are sure that it is safe to do
so.
