Extender Ratio - if no value is entered for Rx then no value needs to
be entered here. If a value for Rx is entered, then
the extender ratio needs to be entered. For the
Model 6623 range extender this number is 10, 100
or 1000.
Once editing is completed press the <Ok> softkey to accept the changes, then press
and release the <PREVIOUS> key several times until the display returns to the
Main Menu.
Step 3) Now that you are back to the Main Menu proceed to the <Measure>
menu to start the measurement, as in the Normal- mode.
NOTE:
In this measurement mode there is a ±5 mA current source signal with 30 V
compliance available at the PROGRAM OUT terminals, which is sufficient to
drive a Guildline model 9606 High Current Reversing Switch or the “Program
Input” terminals of the model 6623. It is also possible to use the "pseudo" open
collector output of the SYNC terminals on the rear panel to drive the Model
9606 switch. This would be done if more isolation is desired between the
reversing switch control line and the measurement current.
