Here's How It Works

Step 1: Assemble Hook

Assemble hook by placing prongs in body spaces and tightening set screws.

Step 2: Connect Body to Head

Insert body into stretcher head, pass locking pin through tube and body, secure with collar.

Step 3: Position Stretcher Head

Position head on carpet, ensuring pins avoid tackless strip to prevent prong breakage.

Step 4: Apply Pressure

Apply knee or foot pressure to engage carpet, pad, and wood floor with the prongs.

Step 5: Begin Stretching

Start stretching with light pressure, gradually increasing to ensure prong engagement.

Step 6: Carpet Movement

Observe carpet movement up and over the prongs towards the stretcher head during stretching.

Note: Use with any Stretcher Head; adapter tube may be needed for Taylor stretchers.
