The metal filter is best cleaned in the
dishwasher using a gentle dishwashing
agent.
The manufacturer shall not assume any
guarantee whatsoever for any discolouration
caused by the use of aggressive
dishwashing agents. Temperatures
exceeding 65 degrees must be avoided in
all cases.
Caution: Do not use three-phase cleaning
agents or clean the filter in a commercial
dishwasher. Cleaning with aggressive
agents such as petrol, acetone,
trichlorethylene, etc. leads to destruction of
the filters!
Re-insert the metal filter after cleaning and
turn in clockwise direction to tighten using
both hands.

Changing the lighting
1. Switch the extractor hood off and
disconnect it from the power supply by
pulling the plug out of the socket or by
switching the fuse off. The halogen bulbs
become very hot during operation. There
is still a danger of burning for a while after
switching off.
2. Remove the lamp ring with a screwdriver
or similar tool.
3. Replace the halogen bulb (conventional
halogen bulb, 12 volts, max. 20 watts,
base G4). Caution: Plug-in holder
Use a clean cloth to touch the bulb. Do not
touch the bulb with your bare hands.
4. Clip the lamp ring back in again.
5. Re-connect the power supply by plugging
the plug into the socket or activating the
fuse.
Note: If the lighting should not work, check
whether the bulbs have been properly
inserted.
