Try moving electronic devices away from your PC and placing the remote closer to the computer. Another cause might be that the Gyration Music Service Application is not enabled. To re-enable it, click the Gyration Music Service (red) icon on the Windows Taskbar and click “Start.”

      If the Display screen of your Gyration Remote Control doesn't match updates to your Windows Media Player or iTunes audio library, the Gyration Music Service Application might not have updated correctly. To fix this, restart the application by clicking the Gyration Music Service (green) icon on the Windows Taskbar and clicking “Restart.” The display screen may also need to be manually refreshed by pressing the button to return to the Main Menu, or by using the menu navigation buttons to move up or down from the current level in the Display screen.

      If the menu navigation buttons on your Gyration Remote Control are non-responsive while the Display screen is active, the Gyration Music Service Application may have lost contact with the remote control. To fix this, refresh the Display screen by pressing the button for three seconds to shut it off, then pressing the button again to turn it back on. Another cause could be that the remote control is out of range. Try placing the remote control closer to the computer.

      If the Power/Standby button on the Gyration Remote Control does not wake the computer out of Standby mode, manually turn on the computer using the system Power button if the computer was in Hibernation or Shutdown mode with AC power removed. Also, ensure that the 'wake from USB' option is enabled in the system BIOS. For information on accessing the system BIOS, see your Owner’s Manual. You may also need to press and hold the Power/Standby button for 2-3 seconds to wake the PC.
