- Shaking ingredients halfway through cooking optimizes results and prevents uneven frying. Pull the pan out by the handle, shake, and slide it back. Do not press the basket release button while shaking.
- To reduce weight, remove the basket from the pot and shake only the basket.
- If the timer is set to half the cooking time, the fryer will beep once to remind you to shake ingredients. You will need to reset the timer for the remaining cooking time.
- If the timer is set for the full cooking time, there is no audible alarm until the end. You can pull out the pot at any time to check progress; power will shut down and resume automatically when the pot is returned.
- The timer continues counting down even when the pot is removed. If the pot is out for a prolonged period, readjust the timer to compensate for lost cooking time.
- Smaller ingredients generally require shorter cooking times.
- Add a little oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result, frying within minutes of adding oil.
- Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients like sausages.
- Oven-prepared snacks can also be made in the air fryer.
- The optimal amount for crispy fries is 500 grams.
- Use pre-made dough for quick snacks; it requires shorter cooking times than homemade dough.
- The fryer can reheat ingredients at 150°C for up to 10 minutes.
