The kettle will switch off automatically when the water has
boiled. You may switch the kettle off before the boiling process is
complete by using the on/off switch.
After the kettle has switched off automatically, (or has been
switched off manually) it may need time to cool down. After 15-20
seconds, the kettle can be switched on again.
Always take care when pouring boiling water and never tip the
kettle excessively.
Should you need to refill the kettle after it has boiled, allow the
kettle to cool sufficiently before opening the lid.
• Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
Place the kettle on a stable flat heat resistant surface.
Ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing it from its
stand.
Prevent children from pulling on the mains cord or knocking the
kettle.
Ensure that the mains lead, kettle or power does not overhang
the worktop or come into contact with hot surfaces hotplate, hot
hob or burners.
Before cleaning the kettle disconnect from the power supply and
wait until it has cooled down.
• Do not use the kettle for any purpose other than heating water.
Only use the cord supplied with this kettle.
The outside surface of the kettle may get hot during use, please
take care when using the kettle.
Never fill the water over the maximum water level. Doing so may
cause the kettle to splash during the boiling cycle.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person.
Never leave the kettle unattended when in use.
This kettle is intended for household use only.
