Haier HB21FWRSS - Troubleshooting: Ice Maker and Water

The motor will rotate to start ice pushing, when the temperature of ice maker sensor drop to
-12℃ and the time interval of two ice making cycle arrive at 60 minutes. The ice maker will
rotate every 100 minutes if the ice make sensor is error.
Under the condition that the freezer light switch is closed, press and hold the freezer
temperature control button “<” and the fridge temperature control button “>” simultaneously for 3
seconds, then start icemaker self-testing
Press and hold the freezer temperature control button “<” and the fridge temperature control
button “>” simultaneously for 3 seconds, “EXPRESS FRZ “blinking on the cabinet display panel,
then the icemaker stops operating. Press and hold the freezer temperature control button “<” and
the fridge temperature control button “>” simultaneously for 3 seconds again, then the icemaker
restarts.
4.2 Water Inlet Control Principle of Icemaker
Water Inlet Control
Water inlet quantity can be controlled through button on the display control panel. Press and
hold freezer temperature control button for 3 seconds under the locked condition, the buzzer
beeps once, then enter into inlet quantity adjustment and inlet time is displayed on the display
area of freezer temperature. For an example: It will display 6.0 on the display area of freezer
temperature if the inlet time is 6.0 seconds. Inlet time is set to 6.5 seconds initially, press freezer
temperature control button once, the inlet time changes to 7.0 seconds, then increase from this
point. When the inlet time is set to 8.0 seconds, press freezer temperature control button once
again, the inlet time changes to 4.0 seconds. Please refer to the following table:

Inlet time is execute the time before adjustment, If the inlet time is adjusted under the water
inlet condition. New inlet time will execute next time
5. Refrigerator Test Model
TEST1：For testing the capability of cooling, press and hold the freezer temperature control
button (<) and the freezer temperature control button (>) on the cabinet display panel for 3
seconds simultaneously to enter into <PULL DOWN MODEL>, “T1T1” will show on the display
screen and force appliance to cool down immediately : during this time the compressor run
normally, fan motor run at a high speed and defrost heater is switched off .
TEST2：Under TEST1 MODE, hold the freezer temperature control button (<) + (>) and REST
