Replacing the water lter
The lter must be changed every 6 months or when the water lter indicator on the
control panel lights turns on or the water dispenser output decreases.
To purchase a replacement water lter:

CAUTION!
▶ Do not install if water pressure exceeds 827 kPa. If your water pressure exceeds 827
kPa, you must install a pressure limiting valve. Contact a plumbing professional if you
are uncertain how to check your water pressure.
▶ Do not install where water hammer conditions may occur. If water hammer condi-
tions exist, you must install a water hammer arrester. Contact a plumbing profes-
sional if you are
▶ uncertain how to check for this condition.
▶ Do not install on hot water supply lines. The maximum operating water temperature
of this lter system is 37.8 °C.
▶ Protect lter from freezing. Drain lter when temperatures drop below 4.4 °C.
▶ The disposable lter cartridge MUST be replaced every 6 months, at the rated ca-
pacity or if a noticeable reduction in ow rate occurs.
▶ Where a backow prevention device is installed on a water system, a device for con-
trolling pressure due to thermal expansion must be installed.
▶ Ensure all tubing and ttings are secure and free of leaks.
1. Uplift the water lter cover.
2. Remove the disposable water lter.
3. Replace with a new water lter. Insert the new lter into the lter head and rotate it
clockwise until the arrow on the new lter lines up with the arrow on the lter head.
Swing the lter back into the compartment.
4. Close the water lter cover.

▶ Replacing the water lter causes a small amount of water (around 1 oz. or 25 cc) to
drain.
▶ Wrap a cloth around the front end of the water lter cover to collect any leaking wa-
ter. Hold the water lter upright, once it is removed, to prevent any remaining water
from spilling out of the water lter.
