Symptom: Timeshift function does not seem to be working correctly.

Solution: Many Memory Devices do not meet the requirements necessary to
properly operate in TimeShift mode.
Some common symptoms associated with the use of a Memory Device that is not
compatible are-
• Time line appears at the bottom of the screen but no recording takes place
• Time line appears to indicate it is recording but play, FF / REW do not work
• Some playback is possible but the image freezes and no remote or manual
functions can be activated. The unit must be unplugged in order to resume
normal operation.
• The chronometer display does not count or counts backwards.
Guidelines for proper operation:
• Only works using TV Tuner as signal source.
• TimeShift device can be –
USB Flash Drive
Compact Flash Card/ using adaptor
SD Card/ using adaptor
• USB Flash Drive must be USB 2 type as well as FAT32 .
• Memory size dictates recording length capability. Recommended to use 4GB or
larger.
• Can only record the program being watched, no timer recordings or 2nd channel
recording capability, when the channel is changed the recording will stop.
• When stop is pressed recording is also no longer accessible.
