  If your Haier Air Conditioner will not operate, first ensure it's plugged into a grounded outlet. Check if the reset button on the power supply cord has popped out and, if so, press it to reset. Also, verify that a household fuse hasn't blown or a circuit breaker hasn't tripped, and replace or reset as necessary. Make sure the Power button is pressed or the Mode control knob is set to an active setting, and check whether there is a local power outage.

Ensure the filter is clean and not obstructed. Reduce excessive heat or moisture in the room by using a fan. Make sure the louvers aren't blocked by curtains or furniture. Avoid operating the unit when the outside temperature is below 61°F (16°C). Allow extra time for cooling if the room is extremely hot. Close all windows and doors, and adjust the Temperature control to a cooler setting with the Fan Speed set to high.

Also, check that you are using the correct time-delay fuse or circuit breaker. Avoid using an extension cord with the unit. Finally, wait at least 3 minutes after turning off the air conditioner before restarting it.
