re´s anything damaged at the item, please contact your

3. Installation of the FlashPen USB 2.0:
-For Windows 2000/ME/XP and MacOS 9.0 there are no
additional drivers needed. Please connect the FlashPen USB
2.0 to the USB Port of your PC or notebook, the PC installs
the new hardware with already included drivers of the com-
puter system.
- For Windows 98/SE and MacOS 8.6 and higher (for MacOS
9.0 or higher no additional drivers needed) there are special
drivers needed. Please download this drivers at
www.hama.de Service Download Digitalfoto, the
specific driver is shown under the Hama item No. The
installation of the drivers for the above mentioned Systems
are explained in the following.
4. Installation of the FlashPen USB 2.0 under Win 98/SE:
-download the driver at www.hama.de Service Down-
load Digitalfoto, the specific driver is shown under the
Hama item No.
-connect the FlashPen USB 2.0 with the USB Port of your PC
or notebook
-The PC writes "new Hardware found"
-Please choose "search for the best driver for the item" and
klick"next"
-Please check "Choose a position" and refer to the place to
which you have downloaded the driver; Then klick "OK"
-The PC now search at the refered place for the driver and
will find it at "USB MASS"; Please now follow the
installation request of the PC and klick "next"
-Windows installs the driver now; Please follow the propsal
"Finish" to finish the installation
-Windows perhaps does the proposal of a restart ofthe com-
puter after finishing the installation; please follow this
proposal if it is done
-The FlashPen USB 2.0 will be shown now as a new "drive"
in the explorer. Now the FlashPen USB 2.0 is ready for use.
-The FlashPen USB 2.0 can be used as all other drives and
disks in the explorer. Please use standard instructions such
as "Copy", "delete" etc. For more details please have a look
at the Windows help function.
5. Installation of the FlashPen USB 2.0 under MacOS
8.6 or higher (for MacOS 9.0 or higher no additional
driver needed; please see at point 3):
-download the driver at www.hama.de Service Down-
load Digitalfoto, the specific driver is shown under the
Hama item No.
-connect the FlashPen USB 2.0 with the USB Port of your PC
or notebook
-please now start the programm "driver installer", which you
have downloaded to your PC; the PC now installs the
drivers
-The FlashPen USB 2.0 is now ready for use
-If there are some problems with the installation under
MacOS, its perhaps because the "File Exchange" Function is
not activated; Therefor please click on the "Apple" Button
