Topping Ideas
Sweet – cinnamon sugar, chocolate shavings, ice cream sauces/syrups, pie spices, powdered sugar
Savory – red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, herb seasoning, dressing mix, chili powder, barbecue rub, taco seasoning
Sweet and Salty Cinnamon Popcorn
1/2 cup (118 ml) popcorn kernels
3 Tablespoons (44 ml) butter, cut in chunks
2 Tablespoons (30 ml) sugar
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt
Directions:
1. Pour popcorn kernels in popping chamber of popcorn popper.
2. Replace popping chute. Place measuring cup/butter melter on top
of popping chute. Add butter to melter. Pop popcorn.
3. In a small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
4. Drizzle butter over popped popcorn. Sprinkle with sugar mixture.
5. Toss until popcorn is well-coated.
Serves: 6 to 8
Test Kitchen Tip: If butter does not melt by the time the popcorn is
popped, let butter stand in melter until completely melted.
Parmesan Italian Popcorn
1/2 cup (118 ml) popcorn kernels

1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon (1.2 ml) dried basil
Directions:

2. Replace popping chute. Place measuring cup/butter melter on top
of popping chute. Add butter to melter. Pop popcorn.
3. In a small bowl, combine cheese, garlic salt, oregano, and basil.
4. Drizzle butter over popped popcorn. Sprinkle with cheese mixture.
5. Toss until popcorn is well-coated.
Serves: 6 to 8
