PROBABLE CAUSE/SOLUTION
Check if CO

Remove promptly after charging in the future.
Clogged nozzle. Press the pressure release button. DO NOT attempt to remove the carbonating unit
from the bottle. Contact Hamilton Beach for repair or replacement.
CO
2 is not mixed well with water. Allow 10 seconds after CO2 is released into water to complete mixing.
• Use very cold (33° to 42°F [0.5° to 5.5°C]) refrigerated water.
• Fill water to appropriate fill level.
• Shake well after carbonating.
Carbonation adjustment dial is not set in the correct position. Adjust carbonation adjustment dial
counterclockwise.
• Too little water. Fill water to bottle markings up to MAX Fill Level.
• This is normal. Release pressure by pushing on pressure release button on top of carbonating unit.
Pressure was not released. Press the pressure release button to relieve pressure; then rotate CO
2 release
knob counterclockwise to unlock the cartridge safety lock. Lightly press door to open.
