The hydrostatic release unit has to be correctly marked, to be approved by the
marine authorities
Do not power wash the hydrostatic release unit
Do not paint the hydrostatic release unit
If an H20 is dropped or exposed to an impact it shall be discarded

Mark the unit. Expiry Date must be marked on the H20 prior to installation
onboard. The expiry date is 2 years, or otherwise stated on the product, from
month of installation onboard. The release unit is labelled with a marking
for year and month. Use a knife and carefully scratch away the appropriate
square for month and year of expiry.
Attach the Hammar H20 with a shackle to a strong point on the deck or on the
cradle.
Fit a shackle to the Red Weak Link™ connector and connect the painter line
to the shackle.
To complete the installation, download the Hammar MarCode app and
registrate your installation.
Attach the liferaft lashing with a manual release hook to the upper yellow
thimble and rmly secure the liferaft.
