WARRANTY
Emissions Control System Limited Warranty
This Emissions Control System Limited Warranty for your engine is provided by Polaris
Sales Inc. (PSI). It is administered by HAMMERHEAD Off-Road Inc. on behalf of PSI.
This Emissions Control System Limited Warranty is in addition to the HAMMERHEAD
Off-Road Inc. standard limited warranty for your vehicle. HAMMERHEAD Off-Road
Inc. is hereinafter referred to as HAMMERHEAD in the remainder of this Emission
Control System Limited Warranty.
YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
Your new spark-ign i t ed small o ff-roa d e n gine must be designed, built, and equipped to
meet applicable U.S. EPA emission standards.
HAMMERHEAD warrants the emission control system on your small off-road engine
for the 2-year period of time listed below, provided there has been no abuse, neglect, or
improper maintenance of your power equipment engine. Where a warrantable condition
exists, HAMMERHEAD will repair your small off-road engine at no cost to you
including diagnosis, parts, and labor.
Your emi s s ion contro l system may i n clude pa r t s such as the carburetor or fuel injection
system, fuel lines, hoses, connectors, the ignition system, catalytic converter, and other
emissions-related assemblies (see the WARRANTY COVERAGE section below for
more information on the covered parts).
OWNER’S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES
Owners are responsible for performing all required maintenance identified in the
owner's manual. HAMMERHEAD recommends that all receipts covering the
maintenance of your small off-road engine are retained, but HAMMERHEAD cannot
deny warranty solely for the lack of receipts or for your failure to ensure that all
scheduled maintenance has been completed.
HAMMERHEAD may deny warranty claims for failures that have been caused by the
owner's or operator's improper maintenance or use, by accidents for which
HAMMERHEAD has no responsibility, or by acts of God.
