Overview

The Hanchen GFK-160A Liquid Filling Machine is an electric pump-based device designed for quantitative filling of various liquids. It operates on a microcomputer-controlled diaphragm pump system, offering precision and ease of use for a range of filling applications.

Function Description:

The GFK-160A liquid filling machine is primarily used for accurately dispensing liquids within a specified volume range. Its core function relies on a microcomputer that controls the running speed and duration of a diaphragm pump. This control mechanism allows the machine to achieve precise quantitative filling, making it suitable for tasks requiring consistent liquid volumes. The machine is designed to handle non-corrosive liquids without particles.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Filling Range: The machine can fill liquids in volumes ranging from 5ml to 3500ml. This broad range makes it versatile for various container sizes and product types.
  • Voltage: It operates on a universal voltage of 100-240V, making it adaptable to different power supplies globally.
  • Power: The device consumes 30W of power.
  • Maximum Suction Length: The pump has a maximum suction length of 3.28 ft, indicating its capability to draw liquid from containers positioned below the machine.
  • Maximum Filling Speed: The machine can achieve a maximum filling speed of 3.5L/min (approximately 118oz./min). It's important to note that the actual filling speed can vary depending on the specific product being filled.
  • Power-off Memory Function: This feature allows the machine to retain its settings even after being powered off, ensuring continuity of operation and reducing setup time for recurring tasks.
  • Repeated Error: The machine boasts a low repeated error rate of less than 1%, highlighting its high accuracy and consistency in dispensing.
  • Dimensions: The compact size of the machine is 8.3 x 5.5 x 4 inches.
  • Weight: It weighs 5 lbs, making it relatively lightweight and portable.

Usage Features:

  • Compact Design: The small size and light weight of the GFK-160A contribute to space-saving, making it suitable for various work environments, including small workshops or laboratories.
  • High Flow Rate: With a large flow rate, the machine is particularly well-suited for filling amounts greater than 80ml (2.7oz), enhancing efficiency for larger volume tasks.
  • Data Storage: The machine can store up to 7 groups of data. This feature is beneficial for users who frequently switch between different filling needs, allowing them to save and recall specific parameters quickly.
  • User-Friendly Interface: An LED display coupled with comprehensive control buttons ensures easy and clear operation. The interface allows for intuitive navigation and adjustment of settings.
  • Responsive Microcomputer: The integrated microcomputer provides responsive control, leading to more accurate filling.
  • Anti-Drip Design: The filling nozzle incorporates an anti-drip design, which helps ensure a stable and accurate filling result by preventing leakage and mess.
  • Automatic Bottle Counting: An automatic bottle counting function is included to help users keep track of the number of bottles filled, serving as a reminder of work progress.
  • Parameter Setting: Users can adjust filling speed ("S.P" from 0-9) and filling time ("W.T" from 0-99.99s). For continuous mode, a "S.T" (waiting time between two filling processes) can also be set.
  • Operating Modes: The machine supports both "Inching mode" and "Continuous mode" filling, catering to different operational preferences and requirements.
  • Installation: The installation process involves removing the black plastic filling nozzle from the tube and passing it through the larger hole of one rod. Users must pay attention to the arrow on the nozzle, ensuring it points downwards to indicate the correct water flow direction. The second rod is then tightened.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: To prolong the service life of the pump and tube, it is recommended to leave some clean water inside the tube and pump. After use, the filler machine should be run with clean water several times to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Liquid Compatibility: It is crucial to avoid using strong oxidants, strong acids, or strong alkalis with this machine, as these substances can corrode and destroy the pump.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Machine cannot pump water, but sound is heard: This indicates that the pump is not broken but may be dry inside. The solution is to use the machine to fill water several times. If the issue persists, remove the mesh filter and use a cartridge to manually add water into the tube. Then, restart the machine to check for functionality, repeating the second step if necessary.
    • Machine cannot pump water, and no sound is heard: This suggests either a disconnected pump and control board or a broken pump. The solutions are to open the machine and connect the wires, or to replace the pump, respectively.
    • Actual speed is the same regardless of set speed: This points to a disconnected or broken speed controller. The solutions are to open the machine and connect the wires, or to replace the speed controller.
    • LED screen does not light up: This indicates a disconnected or broken power cord. The solutions are to connect the adapter or replace the power cord.

Important Usage Restrictions:

  • Thick Liquids: The GFK-160A liquid filling machine should NOT be used to fill thick liquids such as gel or sauce, as these can block the diaphragm pump inside.
  • Corrosive Liquids: The machine should NOT be used to fill corrosive liquids like acetone or ferric chloride, as these will corrode the diaphragm pump.
  • Liquids with Particles: The machine should NOT be used to fill liquids containing particles, such as juice with pulp, as these particles can block the diaphragm pump.
