HINGED RAIL

Before raising the manual hinged track{B} park the stairlift above the hinge, or at
the top of the stairs{A}. When your stairlift is not in use it should always be
positioned away from the hinged section with the hinge in the raised position.
When the lift moves against a folded hinge it will stop automatically{A}. The lift
can still ride in the upwards direction{B}.
