CLEANING
There are charge points for recharging the lift’s batteries at the top and bottom of the rail
(there may be additional charge points). If the lift is not in the correct position at the
charge point, the lift beeps for 15 seconds and the display shows a “2”. The lift does not
work if the batteries are flat.
Clean the stairlift regularly with a damp cloth; avoid excessive use of water. Never use an
acidic cleaner. Ensure the track is kept free of dirt and dust. Over time the track wheels
may leave a mark on the rail.
