Usage Features
Assembly:
The bed requires assembly, and the manual provides detailed, step-by-step instructions with diagrams. Key components include a headboard, footboard, side rails, mattress base boards (headend and footend), gas-lift mechanisms, gas-lift pistons, and various brackets and fasteners.
- Tools: Basic hand tools like screwdrivers, a hammer (non-metal), an Allen key (M8), and a spanner (M8 nut) are suggested. Power tools are explicitly discouraged as they may damage the frame.
- Assistance: Due to the weight of some parts, an assistant is recommended for lifting during assembly.
- Location: Assemble the product as close to its final location as possible.
- Pre-assembly Check: Users should carefully read all instructions and verify that all parts and fittings are present before starting assembly.
Operating the Gas-Lift Mechanism (Ottoman Function):
- Mattress Placement: It is critical to ensure the mattress is on the bed frame before operating the lift mechanism. Failure to do so can result in injury.
