WARNING! Read this manual carefully and fully understand it before using the device to
avoid personal injury or damage to the system during its use.
- This manual provides all information necessary for the installation, use and maintenance of
the Dual Function Control Box, hereafter simply referred to as the device.
- This device has been designed and manufactured in compliance with the requirements of
directive 2004/108/EC on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) via application of harmonised
standard EN 61000-6-2. The device therefore bears the CE marking in conformity with the
directive in force.
- This manual is an integral part of the device and is intended to provide all the information
necessary for the safety and correct use of the system.
- Install and use the device as described in the technical information provided.
- Failure to install the device invalidates the guarantee of the device itself and the Harken
®
product connected to it. Consult the warranty at www.harken.com
- Improper use can cause extensive injury and damage to the equipment and the boat.
- This information is intended for qualified operators only.
- Never replace any part of the device with non-original Harken
®
components, even if they
may look similar. Replacements of non-original components will invalidate the warranty.

shall not be liable for damage or injury caused by the incorrect installation of the
device and/or improper use of the system.

WARNING! Never:
a) Work on the electrical system while the system is live;
b) modify the unit’s electrical system or the relevant drawings. Installation,
modifications and maintenance operations should be carried out by skilled marine
electricians;
c) alter or modify the rated current intensity of the overcurrent protection devices;
d) install or replace electrical equipment or devices with components that exceed the
rated current of the circuit;
e) leave the unit unattended with the electrical system powered up, except for the
automatic bilge pump, fire protection, and alarm circuits.
