The Softail Slim
®
model delivers a healthy balance
of Harley-Davidson past and present. It merges raw,
minimalistic 1940s bobber styling with up-to-date, old-
school fat elements and contemporary power. Its blacked-
out presence, retro features, and low-slung seat express
that unmistakable old-iron attitude.
This perfectly blended modern ride has tons of stripped-
down finishes and fat features including black-rimmed
wheels, round black air cleaner cover, Hollywood-style
handlebar, and fat chromed front forks. A cat-eye console
and retro speedo face add even more swing-era swagger.
Complementing all that retro style are key comfort and
performance features that are entirely up to date. The
Softail Slim
®
model’s seat has been enhanced for added
comfort assurance and is still the lowest seat height of any
Harley-Davidson
®
motorcycle at just 23.8 inches so riders
sit “in” not “on” the bike. For performance, the Twin Cam
103B™ engine gives the Softail Slim
®
model the power
punch to crush hills or leave traffic behind and do it all with
confidence-inspiring handling.

you maintain control during braking events, especially those that happen
in less than optimum conditions. Engineering and styling worked together
to make sure the system is not only designed and carefully tested to work
superbly, but that it is also engineered not to interfere with style. ABS is
standard on all 2014 Softail
®
motorcycles except the Softail Slim
®
model,
where it remains an option.
