Decked in black from front to back, the Iron 883™
motorcycle is the “anti-chrome” Harley
®
model. It
features more blacked-out components than any other
in the Harley-Davidson
®
family, taking attitude to a deep,
dark place.
The Iron 883™ model displays a defiant attitude that
embraces the pure essence of riding. This back-alley
bruiser reflects the style of riders who want a quality ride
with no hassles and no apologies. It’s for those who want
their first taste of that rode-hard-and-put-up-wet lifestyle;
for those who want to tear up asphalt and back roads
instead of polishing their paint and chrome.
With straight cut, dual shorty mufflers, drag-style
handlebar, front fork gaiters, a chopped rear fender and
a solo seat, the Iron 883™ motorcycle is a raw, stripped-
down aggressive bike that gives the rider an authentic,
throwback riding experience.
Model Year 2014 introduces several rider-confidence
features including a new brake system, new electrical and
new exhaust. Add in an aggressive price point and the Iron
883™ model is a perfect gateway into the world of Dark
Custom™ motorcycles.

in less than optimum conditions. Engineering and styling worked together
to make sure the system is not only designed and carefully tested to work
superbly, but that it is also engineered not to interfere with style. ABS is
available as an option on all 2014 Sportster
®
models.
