Menu and Navigational Controls
The remaining controls on the remote are the menu and navigational controls. These controls provide access to the
setup menus, and they enable movement within the menus, and they select, confirm or cancel menu choices.
Pressing the following buttons on the remote brings up the status page of the appropriate menu tree:
“System Setup”: This menu contains many of the key items used to configure the 7.0 when it is first installed.
(see page #xx).
“Options Set”: This menu controls peripheral devices such as remote projection screens as well as the
defaults for certain system functions. (see page #xx)
“Source Edit”: This menu controls the specific setup for each input source. (See page #xx)
“Surround Mode Edit”: This menu contains the controls to alter an existing surround mode, or to create a new
custom mode.
The four directional arrow buttons “ÍÎÏГ are used in to move through the menus and to make choices within
certain menus. They are also used in to make adjustments within certain menus. Each individual item on a menu has
a separate instruction within this manual which details how the controls are used for a specific setting.
The following controls are used within setup menus to enter or ignore option choices:
“Select”: This button typically used to make a choice, or to move to another set of menus.
“Exit/OK”: This button is typically used to confirm a selection choice, or to exit from one menu to return to the
prior menu, or to normal operation.
“Cancel”: This button is typically used to exit from a menu without changing the current parameter. It will return
you to the previous menu, or to normal operation.
