Changing Settings
Touching the SETTINGS button
on the S
OURCE screen (see
page 19) displays the S
ETTINGS
screen (right). This lets you
change any of these GPS-810
settings:
Brightness
The BRIG HTNESS button lets
you adjust the GPS-810’s
screen brightness so you can
clearly see it in various lighting conditions. You can select manual (below, left)
or automatic (below, right) adjustment.
NOTE: You can access the brightness adjustment at any time by pressing the Volume
Control knob in. The B
RIGHTNESS indicator will be superimposed on the screen and you
can manually change the screens brightness by rotating the volume knob, or change
the mode to A
UTOMATIC.
Color Mode
The GPS-810 has two color modes: DAY (optimized for viewing in brighter
light, below, left) and N
IGHT (optimized for viewing in lower light, below,
right). You can manually select either mode or select the A
UTO button, which
automatically changes the color mode according to the time of day.
Language
The LANGUAG E button lets you
set the GPS-810s screen and
voice-guidance languages to
any of thirteen different lan-
guages (right).
