MAKING CONNECTIONS TO THE MOUNTING BRACKET
1. Connect the car charger to the rectangular connector on the right side of
the mounting cradle (below).
IMPORTANT: The GPS-810 will only receive TMC traffic service information while it is
attached to the mounting cradle and the car charger is connected to the cradle and the
vehicles 12V power port.
2. If you’re using the optional GPS-MIC Hands-Free Microphone, connect it to
the upper connector on the left side of the mounting cradle (above).
3. If your vehicles audio system has an A
UX IN jack you can connect it to the
lower connector on the left side of the mounting cradle (above). This will
provide the best quality audio performance from your GPS-810.
NOTE: The Audio connector fits a 3.5mm stereo mini plug.
LISTENING TO AUDIO IN YOUR VEHICLE
There are three ways you can listen to audio from your GPS-810 in your vehicle:
1. Through your vehicles A
UX IN audio connection (see above).
2. Through your vehicles FM radio (see FM Settings, on page 27).
3. Through the built-in speaker.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE HEADPHONES WHILE DRIVING!
