Placing and Receiving Phone Calls
Touching the PHONE button on the SOURCE screen displays a screen for your
particular phone. There are several ways you can place calls (below).
PLACING CALLS FROM THE
PHONEBOOK OR CALL
HISTORY
Touching the buttons displays
a list of entries (right). Touching
an entry places a call to that
number.
VOICE DIALING CALLS
(FOR VOICE DIALING-ENABLED PHONES ONLY)
You can use the GPS-810s built-in microphone to voice dial calls. However,
for better performance (especially in a vehicle) we strongly recommend
attaching the GPS-810 to the included mounting bracket and using the
Guide + Play hands-free microphone (model # GPS-MIC, not included).
The microphone connects to the mounting bracket (see page 32 for details).
RECEIVING AN INCOMING CALL
When your phone receives a call the GPS-810 will display an alert (below, left).
Touch ACCEP T to answer the call. When the call is finished touch the hang-up
button (below, right).
