NOTICE: Not for use in factory built replaces with hearth
weight limitations.
The Oakwood should not be installed into a factory built
replace unless the hearth area is designed to take the
maximum weight of the stove. The Oakwood, loaded with
wood weighs approximately 500 pounds (250kg).
If the replace oor can hold the 500 lb. (250 kg) Oakwood,
the stove should only be placed into the replace opening
to the point that operation of the damper bypass control and
the top load door operation is not compromised or unsafe.
