Hauck RUNNER User Manual

Congratulations on the purchase of your Hauck stroller which is in top quality and safety. Please remember
that this is not a shopping trolley. Shopping nets and bags which are hung on the handle would greatly
affect the stroller’s stability. The wheels of your Hauck stroller require no maintenance, but from time
to time you should give a few drops of oil on the axle and you should wipe out the mud and the dust
from the wheels. If you follow these instructions, your Hauck stroller will give you years of trouble free
pleasure.
WARNINGS:
For the safety of your child, always follow these instructions to avoid injury.
WARNING:
1. Never leave child unattended. Always keep child in view when in stroller.
2. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out, always use seat belt.
3. This stroller is for use with children up to 18 kg (40 pounds) in weight.
4. The upright position of the seat is not recommended for newborns.
5. This stroller is for use by one (1) child only. Never carry a second child in the stroller or allow them
to stand on any part of the frame.
6. Do not allow children to play with the stroller, or allow children to climb into the stroller unassisted.
Stroller may tip over and injure child.
7. Remove all protective wrapping before using the stroller.
8. Before folding, unfolding or adjusting the stroller, always keep child away from the moving part.
9. Always make sure the stroller is fully opened and locked before using.
10. Always use brakes when the stroller is stopped.
11. Do not use stroller on stairs or escalators.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
To clean the seat, remove the screws and plastic clasps and hand wash in warm water with a mild
detergent. Drip dry only – seat contains plastic inserts. Replace seat on frame with screws and clasps
when dry. Removable seat pad (if so equipped) may be machine washed in lukewarm water on delicate
cycle and drip-dried. No bleach. From time to time check your stroller for loose screws, worn parts, torn
material or stitching. Replace or repair the parts as needed. Only use HAUCK - replacement parts.
Discontinue using your stroller should it become damaged or broken. To clean stroller frame, use only
household soap or detergent and warm water. No bleach. Excessive exposure to the sun could cause
premature fading of stroller plastic and fabric.
WARNING:
Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
This product was tested by ITS according to the Product Safety Law (GS law), against the relevant
standard (prEN1888) under model name Runner.
It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended.
Use a harness as soon as your child can sit unaided.
This seat is not suitable for children under 6 months.
Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
Check that the pram body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged.
