If the Havahart Spray Away® Irrigation System won't stop spraying, ensure the screen gasket is secure at the hose connection. Debris from your hose may have entered the unit body, causing it to malfunction. Remove the hose and stake from the unit. Turn the unit OFF and then back ON to see if the debris falls out.

If your Havahart Spray Away® Irrigation System is leaking at the hose connection, ensure the hose is tightly secured and that the hose thread is not damaged (free of bends or dings). Also, check to be sure that the hose connection is free from debris. Ensure water pressure is not too high - it should not exceed 80 psi. Use a pressure regulator if your water exceeds 80 psi.

If your Havahart Spray Away® Irrigation System does not "see" animals, increase the sensitivity (refer to pages 8 and 9). Clean the infrared sensor with a damp cloth. You may also need to change the batteries and repeat the setup process.
