System introduction
The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
can monitor tire pressures and temperatures in
real-time, and give an immediate warning if a
tire develops a problem; it will warn the driver
to take action, thus preventing an accident.
Notice
The communication device conforms to the
standard and requirements of NBTC.
Caution
If a replacement tire is not a genuine spare
part, it may affect the normal operation of
the TPMS.
TPMS may not work properly when tire
chains are fitted or when a wheel is covered.
TPMS may not work properly due to radio
interference.
When tires have been replaced or switched
around, after driving continuously for about
nine minutes at a speed of more than 30
km/h, the tire pressure monitoring system
will automatically identify tire pressure, tire
temperature and position. If the tire
pressure and temperature do not display
correctly after nine minutes, please contact
an authorized service center to have the
TPMS reset.
Notice
TPMS is not a substitute for normal
maintenance. Even if TPMS does not issue a
warning, tires and tire pressures should be
checked regularly to ensure they are normal.
Tire pressures can be affected by factors
such as heat generated by driving, the
environment and driving time. Generally
speaking, tire pressure fluctuations of
around 30 kPa are normal.
TPMS is unable to monitor pressure of spare
tire.
Monitoring function
Press the button on the steering wheel, and
the panel of the instrument panel will switch to
the driving data interface. Press upward or
downward switching button on the driving data
interface to switch the interface to the tire
pressure monitoring page to display the
pressure and temperature of all four tires in
real-time.
If a tire’s pressure is too low or a tire is too hot,
the abnormal tire icon on the tire pressure
monitoring page will flash in red.
Alarm function
If the tire pressure is low or the tire’s
temperature is too high, the instrument panel
will provide the following warning:
The instrument panel displays an alarm
window, the affected tire displayed in red,
and an audible alarm sound.
On the instrument panel, the tyre pressure
monitoring system warning light illuminates.
If there is a warning about one of the tires, avoid
sharp steering or harsh braking. Reduce your
speed, pull over at a safe location, and contact
an authorized service center for assistance.
