Cruise control system introduction
When driving on a straight motorway in free-
flowing traffic, the cruise control assist system
allows you to maintain a set vehicle speed
without using the accelerator pedal. When the
system detects that the speed of the vehicle in
front is less than the cruise speed set in this
vehicle, it will follow the vehicle in front at a
safe distance.
Vehicles fitted with intelligent cruise control
can keep the vehicle between the lane
markings while in cruise mode.
Notice
When the cruise control system is activated,
the wisdom dodge turning on at the same time.
Warning
The cruise control assist system is intended
only as a helpful tool. It cannot replace the
driver's judgment of the road and traffic
conditions, nor can it completely replace
control by the driver. Under all circumstances,
the driver is responsible for the safety of
the vehicle and they must always concentrate
and drive with caution.
When not using the cruise control assist
system please turn it off to avoid it being
activated mistakenly.
Improper use of the cruise control assist
system could possibly lead to a collision.
The cruise control assist system should be
used only when driving in good weather and
on unobstructed roads.
The cruise control assist system is not
recommended for use in urban areas, on
winding or narrow roads, on wet or slippery
surfaces, in heavy rain, or in other inclement
weather conditions.
The use of the cruise control assist system is
not recommended when driving in hilly
terrain, mainly for the following reasons:
When driving uphill or downhill the cruise
control assist system may not be able to
maintain the set speed.
After the vehicle in front reaches the top or
bottom of a hill, the cruise control assist
system may not be able to detect it, resulting
in sudden acceleration or late braking.
