Notice
At lower vehicle speeds, this function may slow the vehicle to a standstill, however, it will not
keep the vehicle stationary. At this time, the driver should actively apply the brakes.
As the vehicle conducts automatic emergency braking, if the driver takes evasive action by
operating the accelerator pedal, brake pedal, or steering, the system may exit automatic
emergency braking.
Notice
Once the vehicle speed exceeds 65 km/h, and the system determines that the vehicle is too close
to the vehicle ahead, the warning “Keep a Safe Distance” will appear on the instrument panel.
If the cruise control assist system is operational, the safe distance warning function will be hidden.
When the light is low, the detection range will be affected, so please turn on the headlamp when
driving at night.
About detected targets
Notice
Depending on the different targets identified by the system, the system cannot always achieve the
same performance level for different vehicles, pedestrians, settings or road states.
Cyclists must be adults riding a bicycle designed for adults.
The best effect is achieved only when the system detects a clear and unmistakable outline of a
human body and a bicycle. This means that the system needs to clearly identify the contour
information of the bicycle, and the head, arms, shoulders, and thighs of the rider in addition to
normal riding behavior.
The system can detect pedestrians if there is a contrast with the background (i.e., if the color of a
pedestrian's clothes is in sharp contrast to the color of the surrounding environment). If the
contrast is low, pedestrians will be detected late or not at all, which means that warnings and
braking may be delayed or not occur.
The best effect is achieved only when the system detects a clear and unmistakable outline of a
human body. This means that the system needs to clearly identify the head, arms, shoulders, and
thighs of pedestrians in addition to normal walking gait.
Auto emergency braking and intersection
When the vehicle speed is lower than 20 km/h and the vehicle is turning at a junction, if the system
detects oncoming cars or pedestrians, and there is a risk of a collision, braking will occur.
The system can detect pedestrians and vehicles that are moving in the opposite direction to your
vehicle (i.e. passenger vehicles, trucks, buses, etc.). Poor lighting may affect the detection range. Turn
on the headlamps when driving at night.
Front crash warning sensitivity
There are three levels of sensitivity.
Standard: Indicates the normal warning distance as defined by the system.
Low: Indicates the warning distance is shorter than the distance defined by the system.
High: Indicates the warning distance is longer than the distance defined by the system.
