Lane assist
The lane assist is designed for driving on motorways and other roads in good conditions. Lane
markings are recognized by the camera on the windscreen, and if the driver leaves the lane without
being aware of it, it will alert the driver to get back in the lane; certain functions even assist the driver
in to correct direction so as to lessen the potential severity of any accident.

Caution
The lane assist works properly only when the lane markings are clearly visible. Under some
circumstances, it might not work properly or may not function. For example:
If the lane markings are not clear, are not standard or they are covered up, etc.
When there are objects on the road that obstruct the lane markings, (such as puddles, gaps, tire
marks, textual markings, pedestrian crossings, unevenness or potholes, etc.).
If visibility is low (i.e. in the rain, snow, haze, or at night, etc.).
If the vehicle is significantly affected by crosswinds.
When lanes merge or separate.
If bright light affects the camera or if lighting intensity changes suddenly .
If the glass on the windscreen around the camera is dirty, broken, or it is covered .
When driving around a sharp bend, along a narrow road, or on roads with a camber.
If you drive too close to the vehicle in front, obscuring the field of view of the camera .
Notice
If you turn on the turn signal light, deliberately steer and accelerate or brake before crossing a lane
marking, the system will be unable to intervene. Under these circumstances the system assumes that
you are actively driving the vehicle.
Notice
f the driver uses a very light touch on the steering wheel, the system may not detect that the driver
is holding the steering wheel and the instruments cluster will emit a warning.
