System introduction
While going downhill, the hill descent control
system (HDC) may actively brake to ensure
that the driver can maintain a constant speed
and drive downhill safely.
Warning
HDC is intended only to be an aid. At all
times the driver should be responsible for
the safety of the vehicle, and always pay
attention to the surrounding traffic.
In case of the hill is too high, the HDC may
not function and thus the vehicle can't be
driven down the hill at even speed. At this
time, you can control the vehicle speed by
stepping on the brake pedal.
