Engine hood
Vehicle equipment
Please note that this manual contains all

equipment and special equipment for this
model series. Thus, some equipment or

Open
1. Pull the hood release knob located below the
instrument panel, and the hood will rise
slightly.

2. Open the hood by lifting it slightly, and
putting your hand into the gap. Move the
engine hood catch in the direction of the
arrow.

3 . Unhook the support rod and insert the front
end into the slot in the hood to hold it open.

Notice
When the vehicle drive system is ready (the
READY indicator light in the combined instrument
turns on), the engine hood are opened, and the
engine will automatically stop and forbid to start.
If the high voltage battery is low, the vehicle will
automatically power off and forbid switching to
the READY state.
Close
1. Lift the hood slightly.
2. Unhook the support rod, and return it to its
original position.
3. Release the engine hood from a height of
about 30 cm and allow it to fall freely.
4. Make sure the engine hood is fully locked.
Warning
Make sure the engine hood is closed and firmly
locked before driving off, otherwise, it might
open unexpectedly while driving, and could
result in an accident.
Caution
Before closing the engine hood, please check for
any items left in the engine compartment
